Replacing wallboard/sheetrock in mobile home?

I have a rental mobile home, older- which tenants allowed cats to claw most of the walls. It is empty now and would like suggestions on how to replace these walls. I have never attempted this and wondered as to what would be needed to do this replacement. I do not think the walls are considered to be sheetrock, but more of a wall board type material. All suggestions appreciated.
