I usually use plastic grocery bags to clean out my litter box, ( I scoop the clumps into a bag and throw it into the garbage) but I was wondering if there was a more environmentally friendly bags available to put the clumps into. I don’t want to put them directly into the garbage for smell reason, and I use a clay litter, which could mess up my plumbing if flushed. Do dog waste bags work?

I have a rental mobile home, older- which tenants allowed cats to claw most of the walls. It is empty now and would like suggestions on how to replace these walls. I have never attempted this and wondered as to what would be needed to do this replacement. I do not think the walls are considered to be sheetrock, but more of a wall board type material. All suggestions appreciated.

I receive S.S. Disability. I own my mobile home while renting the lot that it’s on. The original owner passed, the son sold the land and the new owner has in turn sold to a developer. Therefore everyone in the park has been given an 80 day notice to be off the land or out of the rental properties that are here. My only income is the S.S. disability check and less than $200. a month in food stamp. I have no savings, no cd’s or anything of that nature. I simply live check to check. I have no way of moving my mobile home. I have been looking at lots in this area and there are several that I know would allow my home. I had to buy some things to get a room organized, sort of last minute and didn’t have time to order anything online. So I went and bought several boxes of the big ziploc bags for storage, I thought they said they were airtight.

I tried taking my vaccum and taking air out of the bags, which worked great and and really cut down on the size. However, over the course of a day they started growing again in size.

Is there anyway to seal the seem or something so that they could be the vaccum bags?

I’ve spent several hundred in all the bags and bins I’ve bought, so I really don’t want to buy the vaccum bags now.
